Garrett and I love a good reality competition show, especially when the concept is silly but the show takes itself very seriously. And because he's a big fan of Christmas, you can imagine how excited I was to discover QVC's show The Ultimate Gift Wrapping Challenge. Hats off to whoever at the giant shopping network realized you can get people to buy stuff by making a show about wrapping stuff.
One of the episodes in season 1 features pleating techniques, showing that you can fold pleats into the paper you use to wrap the gift, or you can pleat an additional paper to add as embellishment. I decided to do the latter as a nod to the show and a joke, but it turned out really nice? And I don't really like gift giving and always dread wrapping them. But check these out!

It was definitely difficult to do this without the help of a large work surface like the kitchen table, but I had time to kill and privacy downstairs. We had a huge laugh when I unveiled the wrapped gifts and I'm definitely looking forward to finally revealing the gifts.
