The future inches closer
I'm still checking out input options on the new phone, which is important to me since it's my first non-slider smart phone. Yesterday I activated voice commands. My favorite is making the camera take a picture when I say "cheese." If you have that option, I recommend it highly, because lots of phone camera pictures get messed up when you press the button or screen. Even that tiny movement can ruin it. Just talk to the phone if and when you can.
I also have it set up so I tell my morning alarm "stop" to turn it off. If only that worked on the cats in the morning.

Don't follow that trail
I thought it was perhaps a little unfair of me the other night when we saw Christine Lahti on Ally McBeal and I called her a C-List Allison Janney, so I went to have a look at her filmography. I noticed as I typed her name in the Chrome search bar that it actually autocompletes "Christine Lahti feet" above "Christine Lahti" and wondered if there was some big story about Christine Lahti's feet that I should have heard by now.
No, no there's not. But today I learned that there's wikiFeet, the "collaborative celebrity feet website," and another tiny piece of my soul broke off.

Today's awesome walk, 6.32 miles in two hours
This route is really fun because it's neat to look across Portage Bay from
the West and see the Montlake Bridge. It's really satisfying seeing a spot
where you were earlier from far away.
