I'm starting two photo challenges for myself just to have more stuff to take pictures of. Letters and numbers, in order. Curious to see how long it'll take to get to Z and how high the numbers will go before I get tired of it.

Not going to set out for them or anything, just getting them as I see them.

Shin update

I forgot to mention that I haven't had any shin issues since I watched this video.



Turns out I forgot the third exercise she shows, but I'm doing fine without. Monday-Thursday, when I get to my bus stop, I do 20 steps on my toes, 20 on my heels, and repeat three more times for a total of 80 steps for each. No issues since I started, except when I got back from the Philadelphia and DC trip and forgot to do them, and then had shin pain on my next long walk. Haven't forgotten since.

The only thing that sucks is that it looks silly. But I'd rather look dumb than be in pain.

Baguette from the new bakery around the corner, mayo, cucumbers, pickled brussels sprout and carrot slaw, and grilled pork marinated for 24 hours in hoisin, soy sauce, sambal oelek, garam masala, and five spice. Non-homemade egg rolls on the side.
