Yesterday's awesome walk, 9.49 miles in 2:46
I knew for sure yesterday would be to either Seward Park or West Seattle
because car2go had a contest, and to enter you had to take a picture with a
car in their newly-expanded service area in South Seattle or West Seattle.
I like walking to West Seattle, but wouldn't want to during the day when
all the streets between here and there are so busy.
This was such a great walk! So many hills, so many parks, such great views.
Also, my first time going through Seward Park instead of just around it. I
think I'll go back next week to explore more trails.

Today's awesome walk, 7.32 miles in 2:09
Normally I get up at 4:10, but today I woke up at 2:10, finally gave up
trying to fall back asleep at 3:10, so I was an hour early heading out.
Today's theme turned out to be raves, as I walked by eight or so places
where I'd been to them about ten years ago, and finally by one in progress.
That one was either at the place where I first went to one, or within a
couple of blocks of it.
The original plan was to head up to California via Alki, but I became
overwhelmed by all the wind and rain and realized it'd be even worse over
there since it's such an exposed area. Luckily, I was able to catch a
RapidRide home with no waiting, and only had to wait about ten minutes for
a transfer downtown. I am so tired. Might have to nap between breakfast and
lunch.
