Guess I won't follow this trail :(
Someone wrote on our mailbox, can anyone translate? Goe feta?
Today's awesome walk, six miles in two hours
I wanted to check the Foster Island trail, which I've seen from the bus but have never been on. Unfortunately, it was extremely muddy and I had to turn back. When I couldn't do that, I decided to walk back home via Interlaken Park. It's been a while since I did that, and I forgot how hard it is. That, followed by the few blocks between there and 15th on Galer, always makes me feel like I'm about to hit my limit. Then I keep going and feel fantastic. Except for today, because it's all sunny and stupid out. Terrible for walking. Should have gone out when I woke up.

Good morning
View from the tiny beach at Denny/Blaine park
I was headed for that pier but it's private.
Almost there. Unless no bus is coming soon, then I might power home

Today's awesome walk, 5.57 miles in 1:59
I set out to do a big loop through the Arboretum and U-District,
coming home via 10th Avenue East and Volunteer Park, but on the
approach to Madison, I remembered that I'd been thinking about heading
East to Denny-Blaine Park, which I'd never seen before. I went for it
and am really glad I did. Such great sightseeing this morning. Is
there a term for the opposite of a mental break? As I made my way
around I felt so great and was so happy. Did somebody put a pill in my
hydration pack?

Getting two more pair like my current ones. Asked for three but this is all they had.
